Delivery and packaging of work plus returns

1. Small paintings (of 20cm/8 inches or less width) on canvas or board will be carefully wrapped in protective paper, followed by bubblewrap or similar cushioned protection, before final packaging in either a bookwrap style envelope or a box.
2. Larger works in oils or acrylics on board or canvas will be similarly handled; stretched canvas will be normally boxed.
3. Works on paper (pastels, watermedia, etc) will be protected with paper or glassine sheet, before placing between rigid boards and taped securely to prevent slippage; followed by the final packaging.
4. The delivery within the UK may be by Royal Mail but other carriers are regularly used, e.g DPD. 
5. In almost all cases, work is unframed and without glass.
6. The artist will post overseas but potential buyers should first enquire for a delivery cost, since there is such a wide variation. The artist reserves the right not to post an item to any country they feel is unstable or where post is at great risk. Most European countries plus North America and Canada should be fine.
7. Method of payment;  a Paypal invoice will be sent to prospective buyers. Buyers do not need to have a Paypal account themselves.  For those in the UK I will accept cheque payments and the painting will be delivered when funds are cleared; this may take 7-10 days.
8. If a buyer wishes to return the painting, they may do so within 14 days of receipt. The cost of return postage is paid by the buyer. Upon safe receipt of the work, the artist will refund the purchase price.
